Hi! I am Ana, a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). Currently I provide telehealth services for adults (18+) located in Colorado.
I am a process-oriented therapist meaning I value slowing down, staying curious, and doing deeper “root work” rather than rushing toward quick fixes. I primarily take a “bottom-up”/somatic approach to therapy where we would focus on your body and nervous system—building a stronger relationship and attunement to your body—as a window to healing. However, I believe there is no one-size-fits-all to healing, therefore, I also integrate other modalities in our time together to better meet your needs. Our work together is shaped by who you are, what you’re carrying, and what feels most supportive for you. Together, we will explore your symptoms with curiosity, the ways you’ve learned to survive, and the emotional learnings beneath them—honoring the many layers of your experience. Sessions are collaborative and paced with care, balancing deep exploration with practical tools you can use outside of therapy.
As a Latina, mixed-race, child of an immigrant, I understand firsthand how meaningful and necessary it is to receive culturally-responsive care and to work with providers who share or understand aspects of your lived experience. This informs my commitment to center my work through a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive lens, with attention to identity, culture, intersectionality, systemic impact, and context. Above all, I value realness and authenticity. I bring my esencia/essence, humor, compassion, and humanity to my work. My goal is to foster a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to show up fully as yourself too.
